This week, Chief Judge Lisa Munyon joined the Workgroup on a Statewide Bond Schedule.
This workgroup, appointed by the Chief Justice Carlos G. Munoz (AOSC23-44), seeks to create a uniform statewide bond schedule for criminal offenses that will take effect on January 1, 2024. To create a schedule that works for every circuit, Chief Judge Munyon will collaborate with fellow Chief Judges from across Florida in the workgroup, to discuss and create an appropriate plan for the whole state by October 20, 2023. The Chief Justice Munoz will review the Workgroup's findings and recommendations and approve a bond schedule before the end of the year.
