Image announcing volunteers are needed for teen court

Teen Court is currently seeking dedicated volunteers who are ready to make a positive impact in our community! This unique, hands-on program offers middle and high school students the opportunity to build skills, gain courtroom experience, and help their peers take responsibility for their actions.

As volunteers, teenagers will learn from members of the local bar association and court personnel to take on roles such as a student attorney, juror, trial clerk, or court deputy. Volunteers will also receive three hours of community service for each session they attend, stipends for graduating seniors, and public speaking practice.

To become a volunteer, teens must:
  • Not have an open delinquency court case
  • Be between the ages of 13 and 18
  • Fill out the Teen Court volunteer application
  • Accept and follow all Teen Court volunteer rules
Teen Court sessions are held in Orange County every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:45 – 7:00 p.m. and in Osceola County every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
