Judge Barbara Leach didn’t initially see herself becoming a judge. She studied English in school and lived happily and proudly as a waitress for many years. It was her love of NPR and a desire to learn about law that drove her to attend law school. And it was her passion for helping the community that led her to the bench.

Senior Judge Donald A. Myers, Jr. served as a Circuit Judge from 2011-2021. He was elected as Chief Judge and started his 2-year term on July 1, 2019.

Judge Leach was elected to the Circuit bench in 2020. She currently serves in the Circuit Domestic Violence Division in Orange County.
