Judge Lisa T. Munyon has been chosen to receive the Honorable James G. Glazebrook Memorial Bar Service Award from the Orange County Bar Association in recognition of her outstanding professionalism and leadership in the Ninth Circuit and statewide. This award is presented to a state or federal jurist who best demonstrates service to and support of the legal profession and the Legal Aid Society of the OCBA, is dedicated to professionalism both in and out of the courtroom, and is a leader in promoting professionalism, including civility, integrity, and respect for the legal system.

In her many years of service, Judge Munyon has served as the Chair of the Florida Circuit Technology Commission, the Chair of the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Standard Criminal Jury Instructions, a faculty member at the Florida College of Advanced Judicial Studies, and a member of the Orange County Bar Association Guardian Ad Litem program. She currently serves as the Chair of the Florida Supreme Court Workgroup on the Continuity of Court Operations and Proceedings During and After COVID-19.

The Orange County Bar Association will present this prestigious award to Judge Munyon during a virtual ceremony on March 25th.
