The pandemic prevented the courts from holding many events, the investitures for our newly elected and appointed judges among them. With the availability of vaccines, and the Florida Supreme Court lifting social distancing and mask requirements, the circuit is now able to safely hold these long awaited ceremonies.
Four investitures are planned for 2021. The ceremonies will be held in August, September, November, and December. Please save the dates and join us as we invest Judges Andrew A. Bain, John D.W. The investiture ceremony for the Honorable Andrew A. Bain, John D.W. Beamer, Paetra T. Brownlee, and Elizabeth Joy Gibson will be held on August 20, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church – 3000 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL 32805.
The investiture ceremony for the Honorable Christy C. Collins and Mikaela Nix-Walker will be held on September 24, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. in the Jury Assembly Room of the Orange County Courthouse – 425 N. Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801.
The investiture ceremony for the Honorable Michael Deen, Gisela T. Laurent, and Joshua A. Mize will be held on November 5, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. in the Jury Assembly Room of the Orange County Courthouse – 425 N. Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801.
The investiture ceremony for the Honorable Vincent Falcone III and Barbara J. Leach will be held on December 3, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. in the Jury Assembly Room in the Orange County Courthouse – 425 N. Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801.
