The Ninth Circuit seeks a Senior Systems Programmer to create in-house web applications. Projects will include designing, coding, testing, and implementing mission-critical applications. The position reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer and will interact regularly with elected officials, senior management, department heads, IT team members and vendors to identify and define court related programming needs, priorities and solutions.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Node.js using the Express.js framework and be able to work with various APIs and databases. Creating a user-friendly frontend with HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap4 is a must.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar field plus 4 years of experience in computer programming, engineering or a similar IT leadership role. Progressively responsible experience may substitute for required education on a year-for-year basis. This is an Orange County funded position with benefits. Starting salary is flexible up to $94,625 depending on experience.
