Position description

The Senior Network Analyst position will be responsible for assisting with the support and maintenance of the Court's enterprise IT infrastructure. In addition to support and maintenance, this individual will participate in evaluating, designing and deploying new technologies as part of the IT Infrastructure Management Team. Data Center working environment experience preferred.

Experience in the following areas required: Server operating systems (Windows 2012 R2, 2016 & Linux). File and Print services. Windows Security (Permissions, rights, Local Policy, etc.) Windows Networking (Shares, DNS, WINS, etc.). Windows 2012 Active Directory and LDAP. Strong network theory (TCP/IP, routing and switching, etc.). Windows SQL server 2014+. Enterprise backup (CommVault QiNetix). Firewall and security hardware, specifically Sophos UTM & Cisco ASA. Deep functional knowledge of Cisco IOS and Juniper JunOS. Good working knowledge of Ubiquiti Edge and Unifi products including wireless and video. Performance monitoring and trend analysis. DNS Administration using Windows 2012 DNS Services.

Preferred advanced Knowledge: VMware ESXi. Advanced Storage (SAN/NAS, NFS, iSCSI). Knowledge of internetworking with TCP/IP. RAID and equivalent hardware configuration. Command line and shell commands. Information Systems Analysis and design. Preferred intermediate Knowledge: Internet information Server 8.0+, Apache and nginx. Microsoft Office Products. Windows Security.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, math or related field plus four years of progressively responsible date center experience, with in-depth knowledge of microcomputer systems, client –server systems and networking practices . Progressively responsible experience (excluding data entry) in information systems may substitute on a year for year basis for the recommended college education. This is an Orange County funded position with benefits.
