An Observer with Family Ties supervises Orange County families who are court ordered to supervised visitation or monitored exchange as a result of a case involving family and domestic violence. Observers closely monitor and document interactions between parents and children to ensure that both are able to enjoy quality time together that is appropriate and non-threatening. This involves weekend work only, must be available Saturdays 8:30 am-12:00 pm & Sunday 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm. A high school graduate with a minimum of two years course work toward a degree in Education or Human Services field is preferred. Bilingual preferred but not required. Excellent verbal and writing skills. Ability to interact successfully with diverse populations and age groups. This is an Orange County funded position.
