The Ninth Circuit Court seeks a Jury Services Assistant to support the processing and orientation of members of the public who report for jury service. This is an excellent opportunity to work with the court on a dynamic administrative team, dealing directly with members of the public, court staff, and judges. The ideal candidate will be highly professional and motivated to establish and maintain good workplace communications and relationships. The candidate we seek has excellent customer service skills, excels in multitasking and interacting with large volumes of people, enjoys and wants to grow in the areas of public speaking, and has a desire to make a difference in the community by serving at the heart of the judicial system. The Jury Services Assistant role offers the opportunity to learn and grow in a variety of administrative functions including: data entry, processing of juror excuses and payroll, data analysis, and report generation along with other general office duties.
The selected candidate will be proficient in MS Office Suite with the desire and ability to quickly learn the court’s unique jury management software. A high school diploma plus two years of relevant experience is preferred. Fluency in Spanish and public speaking experience is preferred. This is an Orange County funded position with benefits.
