The Ninth Circuit seeks to fill a temporary, 20 hour per week Circuit Judicial Assistant position responsible for supporting the administrative and secretarial duties of Circuit Judge Mikaela Nix-Walker. This position requires extensive public contact and excellent organizational and computer skills. The chosen candidate will be courteous and have excellent communication skills. This position requires a high school diploma and 4 years of experience as either a legal secretary, paralegal, or judicial assistant. Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis. An undergraduate degree and experience is preferred.
$19.33/hour state funded OPS position headquartered at the Osceola County Courthouse – Kissimmee. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter interested in breaking in with the state courts or someone interested in short term work and extra cash.
The position is set to start October 25, 2021 and conclude November 19, 2021. Some work schedule flexibility is available. This position does not provide benefits, holiday or vacation pay.
