The Digital Court Reporter is responsible for recording and transcribing court proceedings using digital court reporting software. Keyboard 55 correct wpm. Strong computer skills, organizational skills, grammar and punctuation skills are required. Selected candidates will be required to submit to a typing test, and tests for spelling, punctuation, and transcription. Must be AAERT (CER) or IAPRT (ICDR) certified or obtain certification within two years of hire date. Prefer a candidate with transcription background or knowledge. HS diploma plus two years secretarial/clerical experience. State funded positon with benefits.
