Position description
The Ninth Judicial Circuit seeks a detail-oriented and analytical professional for the position of Court Operations Analyst to support and improve court operations through research, coordination, and strategic project management. The selected candidate will report directly to the Family Court Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage complex projects to enhance court programs and operations
• Analyze workflows, procedures, and administrative processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and recommend policies and process improvements aligned with court goals
• Provide staff support and collaborate with departments on special projects
• Maintain records, filing systems, and statistical databases; ensure data accuracy and quality control
• As directed by the Director of Court Program, this position will conduct research and analyze data to identify trends, operational needs, and opportunities for improvement across court divisions within the Circuit.
• Exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive or protected information
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulatory requirements
• Provide general administrative support as needed, including assisting with front desk functions to ensure continuity of service and operations
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in fields such as public or business administration, social work, criminology, or law, with at least two years of relevant professional experience. Candidates with significant relevant experience in lieu of a degree are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and analytical abilities; excel in problem-solving, proficiency with Excel or similar tools for data analysis and show a commitment to public service innovation and continuous improvement in court operations.
