Position description

The Computer Analyst - Liaison position provides a unique role of direct technical support for 66 Judges and their Judicial Assistants. Primary duties include user support of software and specialized court applications to include set-up and training for users and regular troubleshooting of network, VPN, video conferencing software and log-in connectivity issues as well as setup and install of new client PC’s, tablets and laptops. Additional responsibilities include fielding user support calls, daily monitoring and maintenance of PCs, laptops, tablets, scanners, printers, hardware, software, mobile phones, user accounts for several applications and general user support at the Orange County Courthouse and outlying court facilities as needed with some on-call afterhours and weekend coverage. Applicants must have excellent customer service skills, a professional demeanor, enjoy working both independently and on a team and have the desire to learn and grow in the career.

The selected candidate will bring proven experience working with desktop systems running a Windows 10 and MS Office, proficiency in analyzing and troubleshooting issues on multiple platforms and a demonstrated ability learn and support specialize court applications.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or related field, A+ CompTIA Certification and at least 2 years professional experience in a User Support role. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams. This position is Orange County funded with full benefits.
