Position description

The Administrative Assistant II position is responsible for assistance to the daily operation of the Family Ties Visitation Program. This program primarily deals with families involved in domestic violence and family law cases who are court ordered to have supervised visitations, or monitored exchanges. Administrative Assistant II will assist the Program Coordinator and CPS II in overseeing daily operations of the program by: communicating with clients; tracking and recording client payments; scheduling and facilitating orientations; assuming the role of visitation observer as needed; and will cross train with Family Court Service. Occasional weekend and after hours work required.

Must exercise a high degree of judgment, tact, and confidentiality. Must be able to work independently and also work closely with others. Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, crisis intervention, or related field preferred. Progressively responsible experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year- for- year basis. Excellent communication & writing skills required. This position is Orange County funded with benefits.
