Governor Signs Kayla McKean Bill

Today at 4:15 p.m. at the Thomas S. Kirk Juvenile Justice Center, 2000 East Michigan, Orlando, Florida, Governor Jeb Bush will be signing the Kayla McKean Child Protection Act into law. This Bill toughens child safety laws to help protect children like Kayla McKean in the future. Judge Kathleen Kearney, Secretary of the Department of Children and Families, Senate President Toni Jennings, Dependency Court Judges from throughout the state and members of the Orange County legislative delegation will join Governor Bush for a Bill signing ceremony. The Bill signing ceremony will be held in Courtroom 2.
