Position description
The Audio Visual & Technology position will support the audio-visual and technology systems used by the court and court personnel. This position is responsible for configuring, installing, and maintaining audio/video systems, and computer equipment. The position will also be responsible for troubleshooting problems with audio-visual systems, computer hardware, and related equipment. The position will also perform inspection checks and conduct preventive maintenance according to assigned schedules or as directed and maintain inventory of capital equipment, supplies, tools and assists with annual inventory. Experience with fiber optic systems, broadcast media feeds, video conferencing systems, digital court recording equipment, control systems programming, and Microsoft Windows is a plus but not required. Position may require lifting of up to 50 lbs. with frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs.
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in Audio Production, Broadcasting, Multimedia, Electronics, Technology, or closely related field plus (2) years of TV, film or audio-visual production, film and video editing, digital recording, video/audio routers, or electronics experience preferred. Flexible work schedule, may include evenings, holidays & week-ends. Osceola County funded with benefits.
